The same falls, a different sight each month
In July it’s a white wall of water and the jeep track is shut. By April it’s a few silver threads. October and November give you both: strong flow and an open track.

The trip
How the day runs
Pickup from 7am
At your door in Panaji, Calangute, Margao or between.
Forest checkpoint
They ask for photo ID. No single-use plastic gets through; we bring steel bottles.
Jeep over the Kulem track
Six to a jeep. The jeep crosses streams, and the spray reaches the path.
A 15-minute walk to the pool
Over wet rock. Grippy shoes, and a life jacket we provide.
Back to your door
About nine hours in all. Nothing to pay at the gate.
What to bring
Pack light, and pack for getting wet
You’ll walk about 15 minutes over wet rock from the jeep stop to the pool.
Shoes that grip
Sandals with straps or old trainers. Not flip-flops.
A change of clothes
The jeep crosses streams, and the spray reaches the path.
Swimwear
We provide the life jacket. It’s compulsory in the pool.
Photo ID
The forest checkpoint asks for it.
No single-use plastic
It’s not allowed past the checkpoint. We bring steel bottles.
No drones
The sanctuary doesn’t permit them.
Safety and cancellations
When we call it off
We’d rather cancel than take you somewhere unsafe.
Red alert or forest closure
If the weather service issues a red alert for the area, or the forest department closes the track, the trip doesn’t run.
Streams too high to cross
The jeep association checks the crossings each morning. If they say no, we turn back.
