GETTING STARTED

How the first fortnight goes

From the first phone call to a regular carer arriving on a regular day is usually about ten days. The assessment visit costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

STEP BY STEP

From first call to a regular carer

01

A phone call, 15 minutes

What is happening, what help would make the difference, and whether we cover the suburb. You will get an honest answer on cost and funding on this call, not after a sales visit.

02

A free assessment at home

A care coordinator visits, talks with the person receiving care, looks at the house for safety, and writes a plan. No cost, no obligation.

03

You get the plan and the price

In writing — the tasks, the hours, the days, the carers proposed and the fortnightly cost. Take it away and think about it, or ring us with changes.

04

You meet the carer first

Before any care starts, the carer comes for a short introductory visit with the coordinator. If they are not the right fit, you say so and we send someone else. No reason needed.

05

A review at four weeks

A coordinator rings to check the roster, the fit and the tasks. Most plans change slightly at this point, and that is expected.

BEFORE YOU RING

Have ready if you can

None of this is required to call — it just makes the first conversation quicker.

Medicare & pension card numbers. Needed for any government-funded arrangement.

A My Aged Care client number. If an assessment has already been done. If not, we will explain how to start one.

A medication list. A photo of the Webster pack or the boxes is fine.

Any hospital discharge paperwork. Particularly if there has been a recent admission or a fall.

EVERY CARER

Every carer is checked

National police check, NDIS worker screening, first aid and CPR current, and a Certificate III in Individual Support at minimum. All employed by us — we do not subcontract to a labour hire pool. You can ask to see any carer’s checks, and you can say a carer is not the right fit without giving a reason.

A phone call today can start next week

Care coordinators answer directly — no call centre, no script. If something has just happened, say so; we hold capacity every week for urgent starts.
