Four levels, and what the money actually buys
The difference between a $1,200 aid and a $3,900 aid is almost entirely how well it handles background noise. In a quiet lounge room they sound much the same. In a busy club on a Friday night they do not.

Entry level
Amplifies well and handles one-on-one conversation and television. Fewer channels and simpler processing. Struggles in cafes and group settings.
Mid level
Directional microphones and genuine noise reduction. The tier most of our clients choose and are happy with long term. Manages a busy cafe reasonably well.
Advanced
More processing channels, better directionality, rechargeable and app-controlled. Handles restaurants and meetings well.
Premium
The best noise processing currently available. Worth it if your daily life is genuinely noisy — not if it is not. Best available in loud, moving noise.
Our service fees, separately
A typical pair of mid-level aids fitted here comes to $4,190 all up — two devices at $1,895 each plus the $400 fitting. Compare that against any bundled “package” price you have been quoted.

Return policy, rebates, and who we work for
60-day return
If you cannot get on with them, bring them back inside sixty days for a full refund of the device cost. The fitting fee covers work already done and is not refunded. Around one fitting in fourteen comes back, and nobody is made to feel awkward about it.
Health fund rebates
Most top-level extras policies rebate between $500 and $1,000 per aid, usually once every three years. We check your entitlement before you choose a device.
Not owned by a manufacturer
Several large Australian hearing chains are owned by the companies that make the devices they sell. We are independent, we fit six manufacturers, and nobody here works on commission.
