Three ways this gets paid for besides you
Hearing Services Program
Pensioner Concession Card, DVA Gold or White Card, and some other categories: assessment, a fully subsidised hearing aid, batteries and annual maintenance are all covered. No gap at all. You may choose to top up to a higher-level device and pay only the difference.
Workers’ compensation
Industrial deafness claims through WorkCover Queensland are billed directly with a claim number. We do the audiometry and the report; the claim itself is between you and the insurer.
Paying over time
Interest-free over six or twelve months on devices above $2,000, arranged at the desk. No application fee and no early payout penalty.
