How a job runs
Quote, design, build, handover. Most of the wait is the approval, not the build.
Design visit. Stand-in photo from the Wildmoor Landscapes pack.
From first visit to first barbecue
Approvals take three to six weeks, so a deck you want for Christmas needs starting now.

Design visit
We come out, measure, check the ground and boundaries, and talk through how you would use the space. We sketch options with rough costs while we are there, and leave you with a realistic budget. No charge, no deposit.
Drawings & fixed quote
A plan and elevation, timber and finish selections, and one fixed price with the approvals inside it.
Engineering & approval
Mostly waiting. Footing sizes come from a real engineer for your soil class and wind rating. We lodge with a private certifier, which is faster than council, and keep you posted.
Build · 2–5 weeks on site
Build
Depending on size and height: footings, frame, deck, then cover, electrical and finishes. The same two or three carpenters for the whole job. Our electrician and roofer are the only other trades.
Certify & hand over
Final inspection and the certificate issued. We show you how to oil the timber and when. Site left clean.
What to expect, in numbers.

You
Show us the yard, tell us how you would use it, and approve the drawings and the fixed price.
We
Engineering, the private certifier, council paperwork, the build and the final inspection.
Together
A handover walk-through: how to oil the timber, and when.
Footing and bearer. Stand-in photo from the Stonebridge Build Co. pack.
Designed in, not patched on
Airflow under the frame, a gap at the house, and boards laid so water runs off rather than sitting in the joint. It is invisible, and it is why a deck lasts thirty years instead of twelve.
