Portfolio & pricing

The work, and every figure, on one page.

No packages that need explaining on a call. Three options, all of them including the full gallery.

Four weddings

Different days, same approach

Shown in full on request — I am happy to send you a complete gallery rather than a curated set.

A wedding ceremony at a hinterland barn near Mount Tamborine

A barn in August

A hundred and forty guests, three hours of dancing, and a thunderstorm at exactly the right moment.

A small registry wedding party near South Bank, Brisbane

A registry office in March

Eleven people, forty minutes, then lunch. Small weddings are not lesser weddings and they photograph beautifully.

A couple at the edge of the surf on North Stradbroke Island

A coast wedding in May

Wind, rain, then twenty minutes of extraordinary light. Weather is not the problem people think it is.

An evening wedding reception in a heritage Brisbane hall

A town hall in November

Winter, dark by four, entirely lit by whatever was in the room. Some of my favourite work.

Delivery, and what you actually get

The part most photographers are vaguest about.

A preview within the week

Around forty photographs, edited, inside seven days. It is enough to share with everyone who is asking and it takes the pressure off the wait for the rest.

The full gallery in four weeks

Every usable frame, edited consistently, delivered in a private online gallery you can download in full and share with guests. High resolution, with a print release, yours to print wherever you like.

Albums, only if you want one

I make albums because some people want an object rather than a folder, not because the photographs are held hostage until you buy one. Ordered separately, at any point, at cost plus my design time.

Common questions

Asked before booking

Then it rains, and we work with it. Some of my best photographs come from bad weather because everyone stops worrying about how they look. I carry umbrellas and I have never yet had a wedding where the weather ruined the pictures.

Almost everyone says this, and it is precisely why I shoot the way I do. Beyond fifteen minutes of family groups and ten minutes together, you will not be directed at all. Most couples tell me afterwards they forgot I was there.

Around six hundred for a full day, though it varies with how much happens. You get every frame worth keeping, edited to the same standard — nothing is withheld and there is no ‘best of’ tier to buy.

Anywhere in Australia, with travel included within two hours of Brisbane and charged at $1.20 per kilometre beyond that. Weddings further afield are welcome and quoted individually.
I am part of a network of documentary photographers who cover for each other, and the contract commits me to providing a replacement of equivalent standard at no extra cost if I genuinely cannot be there. In seven years it has happened once.

Check the date first. Everything else can wait.

Twenty weddings a year fills up early, particularly summer Saturdays.
