A bathroom that leaks is a structural problem, not a cosmetic one.

Brisbane humidity, 1970s waterproofing and a ceiling underneath. We fix leaking showers, remediate mould, waterproof properly, and renovate bathrooms that stay dry for thirty years.
We find where the water is actually getting in before anyone quotes a rebuild.

    What we do

Five jobs, all the same underlying problem

    Leaking shower repair

Sealed and re-grouted from inside the existing tiles with an epoxy system. No demolition, no re-tiling, and you’re using it again in a few days.

    Bathroom renovation

Full strip-out to re-waterproofed, tiled and fitted. Three to four weeks, one contract, and the membrane inspected before a single tile goes on.

    Mould remediation

Treated at the source, not painted over. We find the moisture path first, because mould that keeps coming back is a leak, not a cleaning problem.

    Balconies & wet decks

The classic Brisbane unit-block defect. Failed membrane under tiles, water tracking into the apartment below. Repaired or fully re-membraned.

    New-build waterproofing

Wet areas, balconies, planters and retaining walls to AS 3740. For builders who’d rather not be back in two years arguing about it.

    Stain on the ceiling below?

Don’t paint over it. Send a photo of the stain and the bathroom above, and we’ll tell you what’s likely causing it.
    Why Watershed

Most leaking showers don't need a new bathroom.

That’s the most common thing people are told, and for about one in five it’s true. The rest of the time the tiles are sound and the failure is at the grout, the junctions or a waste flange. All repairable from inside, for a fraction of a rebuild.
We moisture-map before we quote Meters and thermal imaging to trace where the water actually travels. A stain two metres from the shower usually isn’t the shower screen.
Repair first, renovate second We’ll tell you when a $1,200 seal solves it, even though we’re a bathroom renovator and the other quote is worth twenty times as much.
Licensed for the membrane, not just the tiles Waterproofing is its own QBCC licence class and the most commonly botched trade in a renovation. Ours is in-house and certified.
Paperwork that survives a claim Moisture readings, photos, cause-of-damage findings and compliance certificates. The documents insurers and body corporates actually need.
    Early signs

Five signs your shower is already leaking

Caught at this stage it’s a repair. Left for two years it’s a bathroom, a ceiling and sometimes a floor.

    Cracked or missing grout

Water gets behind the tiles through the gaps, long before anything shows on the surface.

Stains or damp beside or below

A stain two metres from the shower usually is not the shower screen.

Tiles that are loose or sound hollow

Tap them. A drummy sound means the bed under the tile has let go.

    Mould that keeps coming back

If it returns after cleaning, the moisture is coming from behind the surface.

A musty smell or a rising water bill

A slow leak can run for years before it is visible.
    The short version

Fix the leak, not the whole bathroom.

We trace where the water goes first, and quote after.

    What customers say

“Two renovators quoted $28,000 to rip out the bathroom. Watershed sealed it from inside for $1,300 and it’s been dry for three years. They talked themselves out of a much bigger job.”
    Dave M.
    CAMP HILL
“Mould kept coming back in the ensuite no matter what we did. They found the exhaust fan was venting into the roof cavity, not outside. Fixed that, treated the mould, gone for good.”
    Priya N.
    ASHGROVE
“Six balconies across our block, water into two units. Their report got the committee to act and the works were done over four weeks with almost no disruption to residents.”
    Ken R.
