Fairweather Plumbing & Gas

Services

Three trades. One standard.

Whether it’s a fifteen-minute washer or a three-week bathroom, the same rules apply: written quote first, drop sheets down, guarantee in writing after.

Written quote first. Guarantee in writing after.

Do you do…?

Probably. Pick the closest. If yours isn’t here, ring and ask; the answer is usually yes, or a straight “no, try…”.

What each job actually involves.

The jobs we’re booked for most, without the jargon.

Hot water install & repair

A new hot water system starts with how your household uses water, not a brochure. We size it to the house, install in a day where the plumbing allows, and explain heat pump, gas and electric running costs plainly so you choose once.

  • Heat pump, gas and electric
  • Usually same or next day for replacements
  • Honest fix-versus-replace advice first

Bathroom refits

One plumber owns your job from strip-out to silicone, with waterproofing, tiling and electrics coordinated so the room is out of action for days, not months.

  • Booked work: real dates on the quote
  • One engineer from strip-out to silicone
  • Walk-in and level-access showers

Leaks & emergencies

The same-day line goes to a human with a van list, not a call centre. We stop the water, make it safe, and quote the proper fix before we leave the kerb.

  • Answered until 8pm
  • Fixed attendance charge quoted on the phone
  • The van carries the common parts

Gas fitting

Gas appliances connected and tested by licensed gasfitters, with the compliance certificate issued.

  • Gas cooktops and hot water
  • Compliance certificate issued
  • If you smell gas, get outside and ring first

Proof beats promises.

Six recent jobs, each photographed on handover day, cleared up and guaranteed.

Four promises on every job sheet.

Printed on the paperwork, checked at the door.

Quoted in writing

Itemised, emailed within a day, honoured for sixty days.

Tidy-home promise

Drop sheets down, boots off at the door, floor vacuumed before we leave.

Licensed & insured

Queensland-licensed plumbers and gasfitters, fully insured, QBCC licence number on every quote.

Guaranteed 12 months

In writing, on top of your rights under Australian Consumer Law. One call and we come back.

Asked at most kitchen tables.

Not for quoted work: the survey and quote are free. Emergencies carry a fixed attendance charge that’s quoted on the phone before the van moves, and comes off the bill if you go ahead with the repair.

Emergencies, usually: the line is answered until 8pm and the van carries the common parts. Hot water replacements are usually same or next day. Bathrooms are booked work; you’ll get real dates on the quote, not ‘a couple of weeks’.

Our rule of thumb: if the repair costs more than a third of a new system and yours is past ten years old, we’ll say so and show the maths. Often the honest answer is the cheap repair.

Tell us what’s dripping.

Photos help, and so does your suburb. A written quote lands within one working day.
