The pool wall doubles as the retaining wall, clad in split-face stone so it reads as architecture from the garden below. Fully tiled in a deep green glass mosaic.
Lap pool down a 4m-wide side yard
No vehicle access at all — spoil went out by conveyor to a truck on the street. Frameless glass fence so the pool still reads as part of the garden.
Family pool with a wide bench
Three kids under eight, so a 4.5m-long shallow bench at the house end and a 1.8m deep end for later. Pebble interior, concrete coping, turf to the fence.
1987 pool, brought back
Painted interior stripped to the shell, two structural cracks repaired, new quartz interior and coping. Old single-speed pump and sand filter replaced.
