We visit all six plantations twice a year, once in season and once out of it, so the comparison holds whatever month you book. Every listing gets updated the same week we walk the site, not once and forgotten.

Three of us do the plantation visits, rotating so no one site gets the same reviewer twice running. We check elephant policy, lunch, crowd size and harvest stage against the same checklist every time.
None of us works for a plantation or takes commission on bookings. When a tour drops its elephant rides or improves the lunch, we revisit and update the listing within the month.
