Hands on. Then a plan you can do without us.

Every appointment is a full 40 minutes with the same physio — no doubling up, no shuffling you onto a machine for 20 of them. You leave with three exercises, written down, that fit the week you actually have.

First appointment usually inside 48 hours. 6:30am and 6:45pm slots for people who work.

HOW IT ACTUALLY GOES

Four appointments, not a subscription

You get an estimate of how many appointments this should take at the end of the first one. If it is going to be twelve we will say so then, and if it is two we will say that instead.

01

We find the driver

Twenty minutes of history and testing before anyone puts a hand on you. Most of the answer is in how the problem started, not in a scan.

02

Hands-on, same visit

Manual therapy, dry needling or shockwave where it will help — all inside the appointment fee, never a separate charge.

03

Three exercises, written down

Not fifteen. Three, with sets, reps and a photo, emailed before you get to the car park.

04

A finish line

You are told at visit one roughly how many appointments this should take. When you get there, we discharge you.

THE SHORT VERSION

How this clinic runs

Four facts about the way appointments here are booked and run. None of them is a claim about how your problem will turn out — nobody can promise you that.

2014

Treating out of the same Longland St rooms.

40 min

One on one with the same physio, every single visit.

48 hrs

Typical wait for a first appointment, not three weeks.

6:30am

Earliest slot, five days a week, for people who work.

WHAT WE TREAT

Six things people come in with

A physiotherapist applying hands-on treatment to a patient’s lower back
Most common

Back & neck pain

Desk necks, disc flare-ups, and the back that goes every few months. Hands-on plus a loading plan that stops the cycle.

Rigid tape being applied to an ankle during a running-injury consultation
Sport

Running & load injuries

Shin pain, ITB, achilles, plantar fascia. We look at your training load and your shoes, not just the sore bit.

A physiotherapist guiding a straight-leg raise on a treatment plinth
Surgical

Post-operative rehab

Knee reconstructions, shoulder repairs, joint replacements. We work to your surgeon’s protocol and report back to them.

Close hands-on treatment of a patient’s lower leg against a plain background
Ongoing

Shockwave therapy

For stubborn tendon problems that have not shifted in months. Three to five sessions, included in the standard fee.

A patient working with light dumbbells in a bright rehabilitation space
Prevention

Strength & movement

One-on-one sessions in our rehab space for people coming off an injury who want to stay off the treatment table.

Two clinicians supervising resistance-band exercise during a rehabilitation session
Work

WorkCover & CTP

Billed direct to the insurer, reports written on time, and a return-to-work plan your employer can actually read.

THE FEE, PLAINLY

One price. Forty minutes. No upsell.

$110 initial, $95 after that. HICAPS at the desk so you claim on the spot. We do not sell packs of ten, we do not push you into a 12-week program, and we do not charge extra for taping, dry needling or the exercise program.

Initial consultation

$110

Forty minutes. Assessment and treatment in the same visit, with your exercise program emailed before you leave the car park.

Standard consultation

$95

Every follow-up visit, also forty minutes. Dry needling, shockwave and taping are inside that fee, never beside it.

Who you'll see

Four physios, each owning their own caseload. You are booked with a person, not with the clinic.

QUESTIONS

Questions we get daily

The things people ask on the phone before they book.

Do I need a referral from my GP?

No. Physiotherapy is a first-contact profession in Australia, so you can ring and book straight in. A GP referral only matters if you want a Medicare rebate through a Chronic Disease Management plan, which gives you five subsidised visits a calendar year.

How many appointments will this take?

You will get an estimate at the end of the first appointment, once we have actually examined you. If the problem is one that genuinely needs three months of work we will say that up front, rather than booking you in a fortnight at a time and hoping you stop asking.

Will it be hands-on or just exercises?

Both, in the same visit. The hands-on work settles things down enough to move, and the exercises are what stop it coming back. A clinic that only does one of the two is making your problem fit their business model.

Can I claim on my private health?

Yes, through the HICAPS terminal at the desk. You claim on the spot and pay the gap only. Most extras policies rebate somewhere between $50 and $75 on an initial consultation, depending on your level of cover.

Do you see WorkCover and car accident claims?

We do, and we bill the insurer directly so there is nothing out of your pocket. Bring your claim number to the first appointment. Reports to insurers and employers go out inside two business days, which matters more than most people realise when a claim is being reviewed.

First appointment usually inside 48 hours
