Deposits, cancellations, the patch test and the rest, in plain words. If something here does not suit, ring first and we will talk it through.
Patch test, every time
Free5 minutes
Required 48 hours ahead of every first colour, for new and returning clients, whichever colour system we use. It is free and can be done on a walk-in any time we are open.
A patch test from another salon does not carry across to us.
Deposits
Full head & balayage
A deposit is asked for a full head colour or balayage booking. A patch test needs none.
The amount is not published in the live copy: demo the salon confirms it when you book.
Cancellations
$40missed appointment
If an appointment is cancelled inside 4 hours, a $40 fee applies. The slot could have gone to someone else.
How to pay
Eftpos & card
Eftpos and card at the desk. Prices include GST and are the same for every client. We do not sell packages or membership tiers.
Refills, for life
30%off shelf price
Bring any bottle bought here back and we refill it from the drum at 30% off the shelf price. No membership, no card.
Two-week tone check
Free
After a full head colour or balayage, if the tone has shifted since you left the chair.
An honest no
Said at the consultation
Ammonia-free colour lifts two to three levels a session. If we cannot get you to the colour you want without ammonia, we will say so. Very resistant greys can need a second visit, and we will tell you if yours might.
Access
Ground floor
Level entrance, no step. Basins are height-adjustable and the toilet is accessible. On-street parking near Oxford Street; the accessible entrance is at the front.
Privacy & the small print
Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)
Information you give us to book an appointment is handled under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. No hairdressing licence is required to operate in Queensland; the published ingredient list and the patch test are salon policy, not a legal requirement.
