All are Fellows of the RACGP or ACRRM and registered with AHPRA. Where a doctor’s book is closed to new patients we say so here rather than letting you find out on the phone.
Who you will be booked with
You do not need to see the same GP every time, but most people end up with one they stick to. Here is who is on the roster and how to reach each of them.
Dr Helen Prasad
Helen has been at this practice since 2004 and took it over from the founding partners in 2015. She runs the cervical screening and contraception clinics and is the doctor most of our long-term families are booked with.

Dr Tom Beazley
Tom carries most of the chronic disease caseload — diabetes, heart failure, kidney disease — and writes the care plans that unlock subsidised allied health. He will spend the whole appointment on your medication list if that is what it needs.

Dr Amira Haddad
Amira holds a diploma in child health and sees most of our under-tens. She keeps a block of her list open every day for sick children, which is why a feverish toddler is usually seen the same day.

Dr Rowan Field
Rowan spent nine years in rural Queensland before moving to Brisbane, which is where the surgical skills come from. He does the excisions, biopsies and flap repairs in our procedure room rather than referring them on.

Dr Yuki Tanaka
Yuki runs our mental health caseload and the longer appointments that go with it. She also does the travel medicine clinic on Wednesdays, including yellow fever certification, which very few Brisbane practices are approved for.

Dr Peter Nguyen
Peter supervises the GP registrars who train with us, which means he is also the doctor most likely to have a spare same-day slot. He has worked here for eleven years and has a working knowledge of the referral network across the southside.
