Three vets, four nurses, one building
Independently owned since 2011 — not part of a corporate group, which matters because nobody here has a monthly sales target for dental procedures or prescription food.
Who you will be booked with
Three vets and a head nurse, all on staff. If you see Georgia for the first visit, you can ask for her again.
Dr Georgia Mullane
Georgia bought the practice in 2011 and has resisted several offers from corporate groups since, which is the reason nobody here has a sales target. She does most of the surgical and dental work, and she is the one who decided every price on this site should be public — her view is that people delay care because they are afraid of the bill, and the fear does more harm than the cost.

Dr Peter Salib
Peter handles the medical cases — kidney disease, diabetes, thyroid problems, the long-term management that keeps older animals comfortable for years. He is also our cat person, and the separate cat waiting area with the screen was his idea after watching one too many carriers parked beside a labrador.

- Veterinary Surgeons Board of Queensland
- Special interest: feline medicine & endocrine disease
Here since 2016
Dr Mei Chan
Mei sees most of the puppies and kittens and runs the Wednesday evening puppy school. She will talk to you about socialisation for as long as you will listen, on the basis that the sixteen-week window is the cheapest behavioural intervention anyone will ever get.
- BVSc, James Cook University
- Veterinary Surgeons Board of Queensland
- Special interest: behaviour & preventive care
Here since 2020
Bree Calderwood
Bree monitors every anaesthetic in this building and runs the nurse clinics. She is also the voice on the phone who can usually tell you whether something needs to be seen today — thirteen years of triage is worth more than most online symptom checkers.
- Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing
- Veterinary anaesthesia & monitoring
- Thirteen years in practice
Here since 2013
Consults, vaccinations and desexing are priced on this website
Ring between 8am and 6pm weekdays and one of our nurses will tell you honestly whether it needs to be seen today.
