WORTH KNOWING

What 'notified' actually means

Most electrical work in a home is notifiable to the Electrical Safety Office. A licensed contractor does that for you and issues the certificate.

If a quote is unusually cheap, ask whether the work is being notified. When you sell the house it is the certificate that gets asked for.
