Food, drink and rooms

A working village pub — kitchen, cellar and four rooms upstairs.

WHAT WE OFFER

In detail

This is a pub first. Everything else is built around that.

✓

Lunch and dinner menu — Traditional pub food, using suppliers within South-East Queensland wherever possible.

✓

Sunday roast — Three roasts every Sunday, booking strongly recommended.

✓

Cask ales — Six rotating lines, changed weekly.

✓

Private function room — The back room seats up to 30 for parties and wakes.

✓

Dog-friendly bar — Water bowls out, and the bar area always welcomes dogs.

✓

Beer garden — Seats 40, overlooking the millstream.

WORTH KNOWING

Why the kitchen closes when it says it will

We would rather turn away a table at 9.01pm than rush the kitchen and serve a worse meal to everyone still eating. It has been the policy since long before any of the current staff started.

Book ahead if you want to eat past 8.30pm on a weekend — that is genuinely the safest way to get a table.
