Short bio

Ruby Okoro writes and speaks about changing course later than planned. She is the author of Second Act at Forty, and runs workshops and library evenings for people who think the window for a change has already closed. It hasn’t.

Long bio

Ruby Okoro is the author of Second Act at Forty, The Career Audit Workbook, Quit Well and The Pivot Diaries — a set of books for people considering a career change later than they’d planned. Her work is upbeat, practical and built on one idea: there’s no deadline on starting again. She runs workshops and small-group talks for career changers, and visits libraries for relaxed evening talks and Q&A. She lives for a good café table and a notebook full of half-finished plans that are finally getting finished.
