New Farm Aesthetic Studio

Level 1, 84 Merthyr Rd, New Farm QLD 4005
Nurse-led · doctor-supervised · per-unit pricing, never packages
New Farm · Teneriffe · Bulimba

Priced per unit, quoted before we start, and nobody here works on commission.

Injectables are a medical treatment, not a retail product. We charge by the unit and by the millilitre at published rates, we do not sell pre-paid packages, and your consultation ends with a written quote you take away — plus a week to think about it before anything is booked.

$50 consultation, credited against treatment. Registered nurses, supervising doctor on site.
THE SHORT VERSION

How this studio runs

Four facts about how a consultation and a treatment plan work here. None of them is a claim about how your own face will turn out — nobody can promise you that.

2017

Operating from the same Merthyr Rd rooms.

7 days

Cooling-off period between your written plan and your first treatment.

1 in 8

Consultations where we decline to treat, and refund the fee in full.

$0

Charge for the two-week review and any adjustment it needs.

TREATMENTS

A short list, done properly

Anti-wrinkle injections

Most requested. Frown, forehead and crow’s feet, charged by the unit at $12, with a free review at two weeks.

Dermal filler

Volume. Cheeks, lips, chin and tear troughs, charged per millilitre at $580 and rarely more than one at a time.

Skin needling

Skin. Collagen induction for texture, scarring and pores — a course of three, spaced a month apart, $340.

Medical peels

Skin. Prescription-strength peels for pigmentation and congestion, graded to your skin, from $190.

Excess sweating

Medical. Underarm treatment for hyperhidrosis, $690. Attracts a Medicare rebate for some patients.

Cosmeceutical skin plan

Skin health. A written home routine, four products at most, $90 — often the right first appointment.

HOW WE'RE DIFFERENT

Five commitments, and each one costs us money

Per-unit pricing, published

You are told exactly how many units or millilitres you are getting and what each costs — not a “per area” figure that hides it.

A seven-day cooling-off period

Nothing is injected at a first consultation. You leave with a written plan and a week to consider it.

No packages or pre-payment

We do not sell courses up front. You pay for the appointment you have just had, so stopping is always easy.

No commission, ever

Our nurses are salaried. Nobody here earns more by recommending an extra millilitre.

PRICING

Per unit. Per millilitre. Published.

Most clinics quote “per area”, which hides how much product you are actually getting. Ask any clinic how many units are in their $399 area — if they will not say, that is the answer.

Anti-wrinkle injections

$12

Per unit. You are told the count before we start, not after.

Dermal filler

$580

Per millilitre. One area per visit, reviewed before any second millilitre.

Who treats you

QUESTIONS

Asked at nearly every consultation

The things people ask before they book.

Why won't you name the brand of injectable you use?

Because Australian law does not allow it. Anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers are prescription medicines, and the Therapeutic Goods Act prohibits advertising prescription medicines to the public. No compliant clinic in the country names them on a website. We discuss exactly what is being used in your consultation.

How do I compare prices between clinics?

Ask for the per-unit and per-millilitre rate, and ask how many units are in any advertised “area”. A $349 area could be 15 units or 30 — a factor of two in the actual product you receive. Our rate is $12 a unit and $580 a millilitre, stated up front.

Will I look frozen or overdone?

Not from the amounts we use, and not without you agreeing to it. The overdone look comes from too much product, too often. Treating one area per visit and reviewing at two weeks is how that gets avoided.

What happens if something goes wrong?

Bruising and swelling are common and settle in a week. Asymmetry is corrected free at your two-week review. The serious risk with filler is vascular occlusion, which is rare and is an emergency — we hold hyaluronidase on site and both nurses are trained in the management protocol. Ask every clinic you consider whether they keep it on the premises.

Can I bring a photo of what I want?

Yes, and it is genuinely useful. What we will not do is chase it — faces are not transferable, and we will tell you plainly what your own anatomy will and will not do.

Consultations are usually available within a week

Forty-five minutes, $50, credited against treatment if you proceed. A written plan and a total you take away, then seven days to think about it — every time, for everyone.
