Nadia Rowe Coaching

Career and transition coaching

Six sessions to stop going round the same loop.

For mid-career people who are competent, reasonably successful and quietly certain something needs to change. We work out what, and then what you are actually going to do about it.

First step

A free half hour, not a sales call

What this is

Coaching is not therapy, and I will tell you when you need the other one.

Coaching works on what you want to do next and what is stopping you acting.

It is not treatment for anxiety, depression or trauma. Those need a therapist, and if that is what shows up in our conversations I will say so and help you find one rather than quietly coaching around it.

What coaching is

Forward-looking

What you want to do next

Practical

What is stopping you acting

Time-limited on purpose

Six sessions, then it ends

Who I work with

Three situations, over and over.

Different details, remarkably similar shape.

01

The competent plateau

Good at the job, promoted appropriately, and increasingly unsure why any of it matters. The most common conversation I have.

02

Newly leading

Promoted into managing people and finding that everything which made you good at the job no longer applies.

03

Deciding something big

Leaving, retraining, going out on your own, or finally admitting you do not want to. Deadline-driven and usually urgent.

02
Fees

Published, because a coach who will not say the price is telling you something.

Fees include the written summaries and messages between sessions.

Three ways to work together

All prices include GST

First conversation

Half an hour, video or phone. A real conversation about your situation, not a pitch. No obligation either way.

No charge

A single session

Ninety minutes on one specific decision, with a written summary. For people who need one good think rather than a block.

$280

The six-session block

Six sessions over roughly three months, summaries, and contact between sessions. Payable monthly if that is easier.

$1,450

A reduced rate is available and no one has ever had to justify asking.

03
The arc

Six sessions, four stages.

Fortnightly is the usual rhythm. Weekly if something is urgent, monthly if you need thinking time between.

i

Sessions one and two

Getting properly specific about what is actually wrong, which is almost never what you arrived saying.

ii

Session three

Widening the options. Most people arrive with two and leave with six, several of them cheap to test.

iii

Sessions four and five

Running small experiments in your real life and looking honestly at what came back.

iv

Session six

Deciding, planning and closing. You leave with something written down and no expectation of coming back.

About Nadia

Fifteen years in organisations, six of them coaching inside them.

I was a head of department who was very good at a job I had stopped believing in.

I am accredited with a recognised coaching body and have supervision every month. But sessions land because I have sat on the other side of the desk.

In their words
Demo review

“In the second session she said this sounded like something a therapist would be better placed to help with, and gave me two names. That honesty was worth more than the coaching would have been.”
