Fenwick & Sons

The shop

Same trade, same corner, third generation.

Fenwick & Sons opened two doors down on this stretch of Paddington in 1954. The chairs are the originals. Almost everything else has been replaced at least once.

How we work

You will get the haircut you asked for.

Four years on the floor

Every barber here has done at least four years at the chair. We ask what you want, say honestly whether your hair will do it, then do it.

No colour, no perms, no packages

If you want those, we know two good places nearby and we will point you there.

Not sure what you want?

Say so. We will work it out between us. Nobody is going to sell you anything.

Walk in and take your chances, or book and take your time.

Two chairs are held back for walk-ins all day, every day. Book ahead if you would rather not wait.
