Flowers

Choose the size and the feeling. Leave the stems to us.

Everything below is made on the morning it goes out, from whatever came in that week. Which is why there is no catalogue of individual flowers.

What we make

Four things you can order

Delivery is Tuesday to Saturday within about 15 kilometres, or collect from the yard any day we are in.

from $55

The statement

A large arrangement for a hallway, a shop counter or an occasion. Made to the space, so worth a conversation first.

What is in season

A rough guide to what you can expect, month by month.

Spring is grevillea, waratah and kangaroo paw at its best, with the first foxgloves from our own patch. Early summer brings native frangipani and hibiscus, plus banksia coming into bud. Late summer is the loudest part of the year: native ginger, cosmos and ornamental grasses.
Autumn turns to native grasses, gum blossom and the last of the banksia. Winter is the honest one — wattle, paperbark, dried stems and a great deal of foliage. If you want peonies in November we will tell you kindly that it is not going to happen here.

The questions that come up most

You can tell us a colour palette, a feeling and anything to avoid, and we will work to it closely. Naming specific stems is harder: we buy weekly and what is beautiful on Monday can be finished by Thursday. Trusting the studio is genuinely how you get the best of it.

We take on a limited number each year and popular Saturdays go a year out. That said, we keep a couple of dates back each season, so it is always worth asking even at short notice.
Tuesday to Saturday within about 15 kilometres, for $8, and free on standing orders. Beyond that we can usually arrange a courier for a bouquet, though we would rather you collected from the yard.

Any time, for as long as you like, with a day’s notice. Holidays, hospital stays, a month where money is tight — just message us. Nothing is taken until each delivery goes out.

It is single-use plastic that breaks down into microplastics and does not biodegrade. Everything here is built on chicken wire, moss or reusable pin holders instead. It takes longer and holds just as well.

Tell us the occasion. We will tell you what is beautiful this week.

A reply the same day, with a photograph of what is actually in the cold room if that helps you decide.
