Start at Baga in the morning for the volleyball crowd, work north through Calangute by lunch, and land in Anjuna for sunset. Six beaches, one road, roughly forty minutes of driving if you skip nothing.
When to Actually Show Up
Sunset over Anjuna’s cliffs runs 6:40pm in December and closer to 7:15pm by March — we log the exact time each week so you’re not standing on the sand for nothing.
What We Actually Do
We walk every stretch ourselves, order off each shack’s menu, and note what changed since our last visit. Nothing here comes from a review aggregator or a shack owner’s own listing.
Before You Ask
Do shacks pay to be featured?
No. We’ve turned down three offers from shack owners who wanted a mention in exchange for a free meal. If a shack drops off the trail, it’s because the food or service slipped, not because they stopped paying anyone.
Can I really do this in three days?
Yes, if you keep to two beaches a day. Day one is Baga and Calangute, day two Candolim and Sinquerim, day three Anjuna and Vagator for the sunset finish.
Ready to Go?
Pick a beach, check the day’s sunset time, and we’ll point you to the shack worth the walk.
