Good to Know
How often do you update the shack list?
Twice a year, October and March, plus a spot-check any time a reader tells us a shack has closed or changed hands. About four shacks come off the list each season.
Do you take payment from any of the shacks?
No. We eat at each place on our own bill and pay full price, the same as anyone using the trail.
