Lower back pain

The most common thing through our door, and the one most often mismanaged. Most lower backs do not need a scan, do not need six weeks off, and do not need someone cracking them once a fortnight forever.

See a doctor first if

Physiotherapy is a first-contact profession and you do not need a referral — but a small number of back presentations belong with a doctor before they belong with us. If any of these apply to you, ring your GP or go to an emergency department rather than booking here.

These are operating facts about how this clinic runs an appointment — not claims about how anyone’s back turned out. No physiotherapist can promise you a result, and one advertising a discharge rate is telling you something about their marketing rather than your spine.
