About Freya
Twelve years of pricing illustration for agencies and brands, written down
Freya Lindqvist founded Meridian after twelve years pricing commercial illustration work for agencies and brands. She built the course for the illustrators who get the brief and then freeze at the number.
Twelve years, commercial illustration
Agencies and brands
Pricing, not drawing
Why Meridian exists
Plenty of good illustrators price by gut feeling
Meridian is for the illustrator who already gets commercial briefs and needs a way to name a number. These are the moments it was built for.
You freeze when it is time to name a number.
You priced a job by gut feeling, then learned you were a third of the market rate.
You were working to a rate someone else set for you.
A client asked for “a bit off” and you did not know what to say.
How Meridian teaches
Real briefs, your own numbers, scripts before the call
Worked through real briefs
Day rates, project rates, licensing and usage fees, shown on real commercial briefs, not theory.
Built from your own numbers
Not a borrowed rate. You fill in templates with your costs and market data until it is a document you send.
Ready for the awkward call
Word-for-word scripts for the discount request, scope creep and “just one more small revision”.

What Meridian is not
Not a drawing course, and not a pep talk
There are no style tutorials here, and no mood boards about “following your passion”. Meridian does not teach drawing and it is not about selling prints or personal work.
It is a repeatable way to quote commercial commissions, with a rate card you keep using.
Start with the playbook, or go straight to the course
The free playbook is nine pages. The course is four modules, $497 AUD, with a 30-day guarantee.
