Ten days walking, the Alps
Hut to hut, two people, September. Booked late enough to dodge the August crowds and early enough for the huts to still be open.
Three weeks, Japan
A family of four in spring, built around rail passes and four bases rather than the nine stops they first asked for.
Twelve days, northern Portugal
Slow, food-led, one hire car and three places. The cheapest trip we planned that year and one of the best.
Two weeks, Namibia
Self-drive with two guided sections. Long distances, carefully paced, with a satellite phone we insisted on.
Four commitments
All four are in the planning agreement you sign before we start.
No commission, ever
We decline it. Everything is passed through at the net rate with the supplier’s own figure shown.
We only plan where we have been
Twenty-six countries. If you ask for somewhere outside that, we will say no and suggest someone better placed.
Honest notes on everything
Every hotel and guide comes with what is wrong with it as well as what is right. Thin walls, long transfer, dull breakfast.
The plan is yours
Take it and book it yourself if you would rather. We will not withhold the itinerary to force the booking.
Three ways to use us
Fees are fixed, agreed before we start, and separate from the cost of the trip itself, which is passed through at net rate.
A planning session
Two hours with a planner who knows the region, plus a written outline itinerary. Book it all yourself afterwards.
Full trip planning
Route, itinerary, two rounds of changes, all bookings at net rate, the travel pack and the emergency line.
Small group trips
Four departures a year, ten people maximum, led by one of us. Price per person, land only, with everything included on the ground.
Six of the twenty-six
Places at least one of us has spent months rather than days.
