Everyone here works from structured, evidence-based approaches — which means there is a plan, there are things to practise between sessions, and there is a way of telling whether it is working. The treatment follows a well-established, structured protocol with a defined start and an end point agreed with you, not an open-ended arrangement. We do not provide crisis or after-hours care, inpatient treatment, medication (that is your GP or a psychiatrist), court-ordered assessments, or custody and family law reports. We also do not take on active eating disorders or acute psychosis, because those need a specialist team rather than a single clinician — we will say so at the first call and point you at the right service.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The Medicare plan funds ten sessions a year. Whichever kind of problem you bring, there is a review with your own clinician at session six to decide whether more are needed, so you are never just carried along to the tenth by default. Long-standing trauma or patterns going back to childhood usually need longer, and you will be told that honestly rather than discovering it partway through.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
