Three things, and the time to do them right.
Full eye examination — Thirty minutes, health checks included as standard.
Retinal photography — A permanent record, compared year on year.
OCT scanning — A cross-section of the retina, for anything that needs watching.
Children’s eyecare — Bulk-billed under Medicare, and we are patient with it.
Contact lens fitting — Trial pair, teaching session and aftercare included.
Spectacle dispensing — Independent frames, and reglazing if that is the right answer.
Why the test takes thirty minutes
A sight test is a health check that happens to produce a prescription. Twelve minutes is enough for the prescription and not much else.
We photograph the retina and check pressures on every adult, every time, and it is included in the price rather than offered as an extra.

Do you bulk-bill eye tests?
Yes, for everyone who qualifies.
How much is a private test?
$45, including retinal photography and pressures.
Do I have to buy glasses here?
No, and you can take your prescription anywhere.
Can you repair glasses you did not sell?
Yes, and usually while you wait.
Do you do evening appointments?
Thursdays until 7.30pm.
How often should I be tested?
Every two years for most adults, annually over 70.
