About Nathaniel
I still build the same three things for everyone: a tax calendar, a savings system, and a way to see income clearly when it swings by 3x some months.
I spent seven years in corporate finance before I left, at 29, to freelance full-time. I thought I understood money — I’d built models for a living. I was wrong about my own.
The first two years were rough. I underpaid my quarterly taxes twice. I kept a single checking account for everything, business and personal, and had no idea how much I actually made in a given month until January. I built spreadsheets, broke them, and built better ones.
