Ten years on the other end of the phone.
Before founding Cobblestone in 2013, the firm’s principal spent close to a decade working inside a large insurer’s call centre, reading policy wording to customers who had never seen it before they needed to claim on it. Most of what people find frustrating about insurance starts at that point, not the price, the small print nobody read.
Cobblestone exists to sit on the customer’s side of that conversation instead. We read the wording before we recommend the policy, not after something has gone wrong, and if a cheaper option has a get-out clause worth knowing about, we say so.
