ESTATE AGENTS, SINCE 1988

Selling houses in this town since before most agents existed.

Sales, rentals and appraisals, run by people who actually live here — not a franchise with a call centre three states away.

THREE GENERATIONS

Still run by the family that opened it in 1988.

Bramwell & Co was started by a couple who ran it from a single desk above what is now the post office. Their daughter joined in the nineties, and her son runs the day-to-day sales now, from the same office, moved only as far as next door.

It is a small point, but it means whoever values your house has actually watched this town’s prices move for a long time, not read a report on them. Most of the staff have been here more than ten years; nobody is learning the patch on your sale.

WHAT WE DO

Three things, still done by people who live here.

A national franchise sends you an app. We send you the same two people, every time.

Residential sales

Appraisal, marketing and negotiation, from a team who actually knows what your street is worth.

Rentals and property management

Tenant-find or full management, with a landlord who trusts we will actually answer the phone.

Appraisals

An honest number, based on what is actually selling nearby — not the highest figure to win the instruction.

HOW IT WORKS

What happens next

01

A free appraisal

We visit, we look properly, and we give you a number we can defend, not just a big one.

02

Marketing that gets viewed

Professional photography, a proper floorplan, and listing on every major portal.

03

We negotiate, and we stay on it

Right through to settlement — most agents stop chasing once you have accepted an offer. We do not.

THE AGENCY

Same family, since 1988.

Three generations of one family, and most staff have been here over a decade.

“Sold within three weeks at above the guide price, and they chased the buyer’s solicitor weekly until settlement. A big-name agent had it on the market for four months and did neither.”
