Find the Market, Find Tonight's Set

The market field sits just off the Anjuna–Mapusa road, five minutes from the beach on foot.

Before You Come

The market runs 8am to 6pm every Wednesday, rain or shine during the season. Trance nights start later and later as the night goes on — most people arrive around midnight and the last sets wind down close to 6am.

Questions People Actually Ask

Is the market open in the monsoon?

No — the market runs October through April and closes for the monsoon months, roughly June to September, when the field floods. The trance nights follow a similar season, picking back up once the rains clear in late September.

Is there an entry fee for the market?

No, walking around the stalls is free. You only pay if you buy something or if you’re heading on to one of the trance venues later, where cover runs ₹300 to ₹800 depending on the night.

Plan Your Wednesday

Come for the stalls in daylight, stay for whichever set looks good by midnight.
